The Science in Action

Plastic degradation is not a simple problem by any means. In order to breakdown PET we must first breakdown our research team to tackle the objectives outlined above.

Two members of the Yale iGEM Team were assigned to every objective. Each pair used genetic engineering and synthetic biology to tackle the individual issue assigned. Click on the links below to read and follow each objective in more recent detail.
