I joined the iGEM team to be part of a multidisciplinary group to grow on a personal level as well as putting my energy in something I think is important. Together with Floor, I am responsible for all the matters related to Human Practices as well as Public Relations (we like to call it Outreach). In my opinion it is very important to collaborate with other students/professors. Hence, I desire to do so whenever I can. I especially love working with this team because we are all very different from one another and yet we are a hardworking, joyful and united team. Furthermore the experience of working in a multidisciplinary group of students and supervisors with crazy ideas and creative minds is really a special experience, something you do not really have during your bachelor. I am the secretary of the group which means I keep an eye on the agenda, take meeting notes, and cooperate with the team captain and co-captain. Fun facts about me: in my free time I like to play badminton, participate in sports group lessons such as body pump and Step N'Shape, and have drinks with friends! I also studied in Australia for half a year where my love for travelling (i.e. Hong Kong + Dubai) was born.";
