Design is the first step in the design-build-test cycle in engineering and synthetic biology. Use this page to describe the process that you used in the design of your parts. You should clearly explain the engineering principles used to design your project.

                    To find whether our technology actually was a a benefit for the world, and see how much better it would become, we did a  Carbon Footprint Analysis. In collaboration with Tjerk Douma, we calculated in all the energy it would cost to create StyGreen compared to syrene.
