UNNITHAN Vignesh Gopalakrishnan
Chemistry
Year 2
India
He is pretty good at sculpting, and one of his masterpiece involved with highly concentrated agar gel shaped from a falcon tube, and using an exacto knife making a very gorgeous male body part. So good that it must be censored.
AU Chun Yin (Samuel)
Mechanical Engineering
Year 2
China (Hong Kong)
He is a very okay guy. Good at everything, and still doesn't make sense how he's so good at biology when his major has no relation whatsoever with biology. Best mastepiece: a working MFC generator made from scratch! Huaaa...
WAHYU Zoya Estella
Data Science and Technology
Year 2
Indonesia
She is her own role model. That's completely understandable because she can do anything! She helped out with design, modelling, wiki, and our laccase module! She is the best best best best best!
DWI NUGROHO Laurensia Vianna
Biotechnology
Year 2
Indonesia
As an avid instagrammer and amateur photographer, she is definitely well suited for her position as our design team person-in charge! Very cute but can act even cuter when meeting a handsome guy.
KONG Deyue (Fiona)
Biochemistry and Cell Biology
Year 3
China (Mainland)
Fiona eats a lot of chocolate! Maybe that's how she's such a genius at everything? She loves spicy food too. Maybe THAT's the real reason of her geniusNESS. Please tell us your secret!
INTAN Angelica Grace
Biotechnology
Year 2
Indonesia
She is super-super in love all the time. Not with someone, but with dogs! Outside the lab, you'll always find her watching dog videos. Hmm I wonder what kind of dog thingy that she may like as well (wink wink)
WONG Hei Man (Ivy)
Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering
Year 4
China (Hong Kong)
She may not look like your typical drummer, but BOI does she have skillz! When she gets tired, her energy drops like a zinc-carbon battery. It's still a mystery on how she can come to the lab everyday when she also has final year project going on at the same time
TAM Cheuk Lam (Nikki)
Biochemistry and Cell Biology
Year 3
China (Hong Kong)
A very heavy procrastinator, but also a next generation Van Gogh. A super high-tech gal, know everything from video production to making posters. YOU have a long way to go, son.
TO Wing Kiu (Sophia)
Biochemistry and Cell Biology
Year 3
China (Hong Kong)
Not only such a savvy person, she is also very savvy with people. Sophia loves to say MEH and maybe that's due to the fact that she is such a MEHmerizing person. HAHA me so funny.
CHU Ora In (Kelly)
Biotechnology and Gen Business Mgmt
Year 3
China (Hong Kong)
This is her second time becoming a part of the iGEM HKUST Team. She is the MOTHER of the laccase module. Also, she is the boss of the potatoes. Us potatoes sure look up to her.
PANG Chung Him (Tim)
Biotechnology
Year 4
China (Hong Kong)
He loves experimenting with food, especially if it involves the fermenting bacteria Aspergillus oryzae! His trend mark is his blue wind-breaker! Too good that he doesn't even want to wear our team t-shirt.
CHENG Log G
Comp Science and Gen Business Mgmt
Year 3
China (Hong Kong)
Log G disappears a lot. We actually never meet him in person, and the only way to contact him is through the group chat. He is very low key, but his work on our wiki is definitely high key.
CHOI Hon Fung (Kenny)
Biochemistry and Cell Biology
Year 4
China (Hong Kong)
Kenny can be found either working hard for our alkane module, or working equally hard in the gym for his six-pack. BUT, we never actually see his six-pack in real life, so picturing Kenny with the six-packs need a lot of our imagination.
LAU Yee Hin (Henry)
Biotechnology and Business
Year 2
China (Hong Kong)
Listening to Henry talk will remind you of Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory. Likewise his intelligence! He worked super hard and assigning task unequally to all members. Favorite child: VIGNESH and HIS SCULPTURE.

Instructor
Name : Dr. Jessica Ce Mun Tang
Dr. Tang has been joining the iGEM team as an instructor for nine years. Prior to joining iGEM, most of the members, especially
those from life science department, are already familiar with her since their first year as she
has been the course instructor for General Biology courses. She never puts on airs and has always
treated us like more than a student of hers. Just like the lyrics, "Let this be our lesson in
love. Let this be the way we remember us."
Name : Prof. King Lau Chow
He is currently the Director of Interdisciplinary Programs Office. His research work spans a broad spectrum of biological
sciences, with many different interdisciplinary collaboration. He has been engaged in iGEM activities
for the past 9 years and sees it a very effective way of vertically integrating education while
training our critical thinking skills. When we're facing problems, he encourages us to explore
by ourselves rather than directly telling us the solution.
