(NTX, 2017) Is a problem that has been ignored because of what the healing process requires. Thus, we decided that accelerating this process would have many advantages, not only in a quicker skin regeneration, but also it would have a psychological impact and a reduction in the economic cost.

Also, we implemented a growth factor produced by humans called Leptin. This growth factor has been reported in different skin regeneration process. There were some other proteins used in this project: Tenascin and heparin. Both of them, with the company of collagen, compose our scaffold where the encapsulated leptin (encapsulated with chitosan) binds there in order to have an appropriate delivery of it in the skin.
