2018 UIUC Illinois iGEM Team
The UIUC Illinois iGEM undergraduates were responsible for almost every aspect of the iGEM project, from project development to wiki design to performing and scheduling experiments to preparing the presentation.

Dr. Ting Lu, the head of our project. He got us in contact with his post-doc, Wentao for insight on the growing conditions of L-lactis and provided us with strains of L-lactis and other resources for L-lactis.
Courtney Fenlon and Elizabeth Murphy helped with setting up our outreach events, reviewing our presentations/work and gave moral support.
Graduate Advisors
Shekhar Mishra, Carl Schultz and Matthew Waugh played an integral role in the design and execution of the wetlab portion of our project, from construct design to advice on carrying out specific protocols.
