UIUC Illinois 2018 iGEM Midwest Meet Up w/ Washington University in St. Louis

On August 17th, some team members from Washington University in St. Louis came to our midwest meet up at our university. We listened to Dr. Ting Lu give a presentation on his work in the field of synthetic biology. We gave presentations to each other about our projects and the work were were conducting. We talked about some of the problems we were facing and gave each other advice on how to overcome these problems. The Washington University team was having some trouble with their PCR, so we gave them advice on how we do ours.
