The picture shows the cell culture room belonging to Jiangnan iGEM team，which is our fundamental work place. The lab is equiped with two biosafety cabinets， one refrigerator（-20℃ and 4℃)，one centrifugal machine，a thermostat water bath, a cold atmospherical plasma device and so on. In this lab, we prepare well-worked disinfector or UV lamp to efficiently meet our demand for biosafety at an basic level of biological experiment. For example, we will scrub the open benches with 75% ethanol before and after doing an experiment. Anything containing laboratory organisms or be contaminated by them will be exposed to UV or sterilized. In a word，we regarded “Nothing alive or toxic can be released to natural environment” as one of our most important requirements.
