SYS Factory
In the afternoon of 7/19, 2018, we went to a factory in Wurih District to meet with a factory owner, Mr. Qing-Gui Lin. The factory manufactures syringes, and since our project has something to do with blood drawing, we asked Mr. Lin some questions, and here is one example:
Q: What kind of syringe best suits the need in poorer areas?
A:There are three kinds of syringes,
(1)AD ( Auto- Disable) : It destroys itself after use, and this is the kind that should be used in undeveloped countries.
(2)Disposable: Normally, it should be thrown away after use. But it might be misused by people who do drugs, so it is not that safe.
(3)Safety: This kind of syringe is commonly used in developed countries and it protects both the patients and medical personnels.
Mr.Lin also gave us permission to put the SYS logo on our website in support of our project.
