Tejas Somvanshi
A knowledgeable individual, happy to explore new avenues leading to addition in cumulative
human knowledge. Enthusiastic and an optimistic person who loves working in an intelligent
environment. That's the description for my resume.
In reality I like to think of myself as Phil from the "Hangover" movie but come of more as Stu. I reckon that sentence
describes me better than my entire resume ever could.
My role in the project can be summed up in the immortal words of Inspector Lestrade of BBC Sherlock, "Not my Division!"
Jokes apart, I am one of the guys who gets his hands dirty doing the actual experimental part. I mostly overlook the experiments regarding the Interlab Study.

Anubhav Basu
A fun loving and enthusiastic individual, I love thinking about new ideas and exploring them with a view to uncover something new or make an impactful change in people's lives . My interests are diverse and you can find me doing hardcore biology experiments with as much fervor as playing an hour long game of DOTA.
Oh, and did I say I love to eat ? Feel free to have an engaging discussion about the universe with me or talk about the latest memes as long as you remember the food bill is on you XD
Some of the other things I like that I can think off the top of my head include football, tennis (lawn not table), poker , memes , movies,YouTube and wasting my time with friends doing nothing.
Well, that's pretty much all about me. Live and long and prosper.
You can safely say that I'm the person of the group who could spend all day at the lab setting up and doing experiments but when it comes to theoretical stuff, I'm out :p
So I mostly run the experiments in out lab and with my friend Tejas overlook everything in the interlab study.

I love connecting with people and learning by experience. A believer of togetherness, I intend to create a space around where we all talk, discuss and prosper. I get the things done at the right time.
I have been involved in the project from its inception. Be it organising the first meeting about iGEM in the campus, building up a team and developing the project idea, I was always there.
I got to learn a lot in this journey, which is too good to be true.
Brushed up on my PR skills, got my nerves strong on the bench work and most importantly, maintaining daily records and communicating the same with all the members of the group.
Give me a cup of chai (tea) and a paper in hand, I would be more than happy.

Fathima Afsal
I am a simple and optimistic person who believes in collective efforts. Energetic and loves to explore new niches and experiences. These i believe, teaches me a lot. I consider iGEM as such an opportunity to work together with the team to explore and experience. I usually get busy with work outside the lab, to coordinate events, to keep deadlines and to manage the outreach.
The only criteria to get me going in life is to be engaged in something or the other everytime, cause i hate to stay idle :)
Being an avid reader, i love being in the middle of a book every time.
Thus books and work- are all that's required for me to keep going :p

Harshal Wasnik
A consistent learner ,dedicated & self motivated person who wonders and respects about might of each life form. I am nocturnal & you can characterized me by 72- hour circadian rhythm, well this could be accredited to a unique metabolic pathway where caffeine is directly converted to ATP. In addition to my masters at Biological Sciences I love to read about Astronomy which procure my interest in a subject that is integration of Astronomy and Biology - “Astrobiology”. I love to act, play harmonica & watch Pro-wrestling/MMA. I am glad to have the opportunity to take part in the iGEM because it is the first time I felt that I am a part of a creative activity rather than an assessment.
My role in this project is to sometimes help in & perform different sets of experiments at the lab. Apart from that I am also handling the Human Practices & Integrated Human Practices section for the team.

Anand Golait
A professional ninja and a part-time space alien. I am just visiting Earth to study Biological Sciences from the mortals.
Facts aside, I am inclined towards topics such as neurochemistry, plant biology, astrobiology, emergence and spirituality. iGEM appeals to me because it's like a scientific version of building blocks, it gives an opportunity to freely brainstorm to build something that can create a difference. Keeping the load of back-breaking lab work on my nice colleagues, my role is limited to participation in ideating concepts, managing the team wiki and creating graphic designs and flowcharts for easy explanations.
I create synthwave art and play the violin in my spare time to cope with the emptiness of the postmodern society. Also, when I was small, I used to wake up very late...I mean I still do, but I used to too.

Shreshtha Rath
One of my driving reasons to join Team MethNote was,the possibility of experiencing the development of a project from the idea to the implementation, and being able to influence it along the way. Apart from chipping in for extensive literature review regarding the scope of our project, I helped in finalising our work strategy and designing primers and vector maps, in sillico.
My absolute favorite jobs has been editing and tailoring the content of our project proposals according to specific audiences and managing the team's social media handle alongwith few of the team mates.
World Politics followed by Binging and Books on Brain are more than enough to make my day !
