Our team is composed of 8 members. As the team to participate in the iGEM contest for the first time,we couldn’t have accomplished it without everyone who provided us help and advice during our project. We are sincerely grateful to them !
PIs:
- Prof.Bilian Chen：Primary PI , sponsored our experiments, provided support to us for successfully completing the experiment and standing on the stage in Boston.
- Dr.Jianzhong Huang：Secondary PI ,provided us with a laboratory to help us advance the experimental process.
- Dr.Tao Yong：Secondary PI , guided us to complete PLA-related experiments, and provided us with technical and material supports in the laboratory.
Instructor:
- Dr.Xinwei Yang：Instructor, teached us the experimental techniques commonly used in synthetic biology. Helped us improve the logic of the entire project, gave us a lot of help when the team is in trouble.
- Dr.Jianxiong Ye：Instructor, helped our team complete the modeling and gave us many suggestions for our presentation, perfecting the details of the entire project and making our presentation more logical.
- Dr.Feng Qi：Instructor, listened to the speeches of our project and gave us suggestions. Modified our manuscript and gave us help when the experiment encountered problems.
- Dr.Chongrong Ke：Instructor, provide us with a lab and solved the experimental problems for us.
- Dr.Xiaofeng Chen：Handled financial affairs for us and made sure we can go to Boston smoothly.
Advisor:
- Junhao Lu：Gave advise to our project and told us what to look out for in iGEM.
- Yi Cai：Guided our project and lead us to some other universities for communication.
Team:
- Luying He：Team captain, kept an overview in all aspects of the project and was responsible for most experiments, including 2-phenylethanol, improvement, etc.
- Junru Lin：Wiki Manager, built the MazF circuit and verified its functionality, hosted the in-group meeting.
- Xinyue Zhang：Human Practice Manager,degrading unpleasant axilla odors genes designer, and wiki articles editor.
- Xueyi Yang：Designed the salt and temperature switch, constructed the circuit and was responsible for poster.
- Hanrong Zhu：Detection of phenyllactic acid and 2-phenylethanol, interlab, improve experiment.
- Yuxian Chen：Modeling Builder, designed the logo, provided advice for wiki and posters.
- Guanxuan Peng：Modeling builder，be responsible for the experiments of phenyllactic acid.
- Xiaoyu Chen：Helper, helped other teammates to complete their work.
