<p id="para"> It is well known that pests are the important factors influencing the yield and quality of vegetables, we iGEM team in Shenzhen Longhua crop planting base article grasped the jump a field investigation found to be worst affected by the Guangdong area for vegetable pests, we through the query and farmers' exchange and literature, understand the current deal with article grasped, the only way to jump a more effective spraying chemical pesticides. In order to find out whether vegetables in the market have pesticide residues, the team went to the supermarket to buy vegetable heart, and contacted the national food testing center. The team members carried out pesticide residues detection under the guidance of the teachers in the center, and found that the vegetable heart in the supermarket did have certain pesticide residues, although there were no excessive pesticide residues, but it did exist. Because the sample is from the supermarket, there is a strict control and most citizens from farmers' markets and street vendors to buy vegetables, so the team next to different sources of vegetable by the method of rapid detection of pesticide residue detection, found that people at the dinner table of vegetables is indeed pesticide residues, pesticide residues can cause bad effect to human body health, so the development of new green spray destroy grasped the jump is very urgent. Vegetables may have pesticide residues, which can affect health, but what does the public know about them? So we conducted questionnaire survey, and found a lot of citizens while people pay more and more attention to food safety, but they don't know how to know if there's any pesticide residues in vegetables, deal with the issue of pesticide residue, and I don't know pesticide residues huge harm, also don't understand our products, so the team decided to carry out community science popularization and publicity activities, to tell people how to quickly detect whether there is a pesticide residues in vegetables, how to deal with pesticide residues, and introduce our products to the citizen - a new generation of green pesticide spray.
