Dutch mini jamboree in Eindhoven

Description: Last year, iGEM Eindhoven organized a Mini jamboree to practice for the real deal in Boston. Due to positive feedback, we will be back this year with a second edition! Symposium "Limits of Life"

iGEM 2018 Turkey Meet-Up

Dates: September 8, 2018

Location: METU DF Convention Center, Ankara,Turkey

Description: We are METU_HS_Ankara team and we would like to host a meet-up named “iGEM 2018 Turkey Meet-Up”. We are organizing this event in order to establish a warm and sincere environment in which iGEM’ers can socialize and share ideas. iGEM’ers will conduct a workshop for high school students. Furthermore, researchers from prominent universities in Turkey will give speech about biotechnology and synthetic biology. This will be the first meet-up we host and we are looking forward to seeing iGEM teams in Ankara, Turkey.

The fifth Conference of China iGEMer Community (CCiC)

Dates: August 27th, 2018-August 31st, 2018 (August 27th is the day for check-in)

Spanish Meet Up

Dates: August 18-20, 2018

Location: Barcelona, Spain

Description: This summer the iGEM UPF CRG team will be hosting the first iGEM Spanish MeetUp, since it is the first year with more than 2 teams are registered. The MeetUp will be developed in Barcelona, Spain, in the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park (PRBB), just next to the beach. Any team from around is more than welcome. Each team will be able to do a project presentation and after that we’ll listen to some scientific talks from invited scientists. Pacific Northwest Meetup

Dates: August 18-19, 2018

Location: University of Washington, Seattle, USA

Description: This year the Washington iGEM team will be hosting our first ever meetup for the Pacific Northwest, located in Seattle, WA, USA! Despite being called the "Pacific Northwest Meetup," any team from around the world is invited to participate! Dutch BBQ and Meet-Up

Dates: August 17, 2018

Location: Leiden, the Netherlands

Description: iGEM Leiden is hosting the "Dutch BBQ and Meet-Up"  on August 17th in Leiden. The name is pretty explanatory! We will have a grill going and will provide food and drinks so the teams can get to know each other in a relaxing atmosphere. From around 5pm we will start with some drinks and light up the BBQ.

Summer Mediterranean Meet Up

All India iGEM Meetup

Dates: July 27-29, 2018

Location: Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore

Description: A countrywide meetup where around seven Indian iGEM teams will discuss their project ideas, interact with each other and share their knowledge of synthetic biology. We will be having mock presentations and a poster session, where a committee of judges will send anonymous feedback to teams about their project, along with talks by researchers from the institute.

iGEM Eurasian meet-up 2018

Dates: July 24-26, 2018

Location: Shenzhen, China

Description: Are you curious, adventurous and up for something special this summer? Then join the iGEM teams of BGI College and TU Delft in the very first iGEM Eurasian meetup this upcoming July in Shenzhen! For three days BGI College will not only provide you guys with an exotic location and TU Delft with delicious meals but also workshops, interesting presentations and the ultimate opportunity for getting to know a new culture and people from all over the world! It will be an opportunity to share your ideas, meet new people from a different continent and get your project to an even higher level. As a special feature, we also give the opportunity to connect with other iGEM overgraduate, undergraduate and high school teams even before the meet-up!

Mid-Atlantic Meetup

Dates: July 13, 2018

Location: University of Maryland, College Park

Description: Team UMaryland is hosting this years Mid-Atlantic Meetup, giving teams an opportunity to practice presenting their ideas and exchange feedback with other iGEM teams in the Mid-Atlantic Area! Each team will be giving a short presentation followed by a Q&A, and we will have coffee breaks and lunch in between. We’ll also be hosting guest speakers to talk about their experience in synthetic biology from a broad range of backgrounds.

4th Annual Parisian Meetup

Description: Pasteur Paris iGEM team will host the 4th annual Parisian Meetup inside our institute. The University Joint Conference of the iGEM Competition China Division

Nordic iGEM Conference

Description: The purpose of the conference is primarily to strengthen the ties between Nordic iGEM teams and their respective universities. 6th Annual BioBrick Tutorial at DTU
