Visually both plasmids have a clear amplification band that is comparable at all concentrations. The negative controls do not contain the specific amplicon band for either of the plasmids. The hipO plasmid has a smear at lower weight boundaries, however, it can be explained by the primer dimerization. Therefore, the test showed that RPA is an alternative technique that is comparably sensitive to PCR and LAMP. |
