Education

We went to Beijing No.2 Experiment Primary School to give an introduction of synthetic biology. We gave a presentation in a Grade 5 class, discussed synthetic biology and environmental conservation with them. We showed our understandings, concerns, and hopes for synthetic biology and hoped they will participate in genetic engineering biology in their future. In addition, we helped them practice with some experiment instruments, and gave them opportunities to observe our experiment samples, therefore arousing their interests in biology, especially the synthetic biology.

Publc Service

During the club festival, we held biology workshop for students in our school, providing those students who are unfamiliar with biology chances to explore biology through experiments. We conducted several biological experiments to help them be engaged in. Moreover, we allowed students who love biology to visit our lab, the Watson-Crick lab, and gave introductions about some basic experimental operation
