Universidad de las Fuerzas Armadas ESPE.-
Founded in 1922, the University is considered one of the most emblematic of Ecuador for its constant innovation and contribution to productive development. The University distinguishes itself by providing practical solutions to the needs and concerns of Ecuadorian society, contributing to the generation of new knowledge through teaching, research and links with society.
The University has supported us in a special way with infrastructure, laboratory equipment, reagents and some amount of funding that was required for the realization of the project.
IDGen.-
Is a biotechnology company dedicated to technical and diagnostic assessment, both microbiological and molecular, for phytopathogens and beneficial organisms in different crops. This company is destined to offer specialized technical services, among which are: Nucleic Acids Extraction, sequencing, microsatellites, population genetics analysis, phylogenetic analysis, amplification of DNA fragments, among others.
IDGen has developed a very important role for the completion of our project, since it has contributed us with the necessary infrastructure to carry out our work, and also to teach courses of molecular techniques, that allowed us to raise money for the realization of the project and to afford the inscription and the trip to Boston.
Tukii Tangible Emotions.-
Is a project developed by graduate students of Universidad de las Fuerzas Armadas ESPE, which consists of a tactile storyteller who draws on the palm of the hand any type of object, while describing it with the most amazing effects, and which is aimed at children with visual disability.
Dragon Tattoo.- is a center for tattoos, directed by Rommel Zamora, who maintains the premise of capturing the ideas of a client on the skin, using quality materials.
As part of the raffle, Dragon Tattoo collaborated with a grayscale tattoo of up to 12 x 12 cm for the winner, which allowed us to raise funds.
IDT: Integrated DNA Technologies Inc. is the world's largest supplier of custom nucleic acids for biotechnology, clinical diagnostics, and pharmaceutical development. IDT provide us with the Gblocks that we use for the gene construction and modification.
Snnapgene.- is a software for bioinformatic analysis. Is created to help to solve problems to the molecular biologist from all over the world, each enhancement has generated new ideas.
Confiteca.- is a company founded in 1963 that is dedicated to the production of confectionery products: candies, nougat, dragees and confectionery pills, chewing gum (chewing gum), soft candy, confectionery based chocolate and white chocolate, and so on.
Confiteca collaborated with us with a basket full of sweets from its different brands, which we gave as a prize in a raffle that allowed us to raise funds.
Complejo ecuestre la Estancia.- is a complex designed for visitors looking to relax and enjoy different activities close to nature and in the company of beautiful horses. It is located in the western part of Quito, at km8 via Nono.
La Estancia collaborated with us with a ride for two people, which was part of a raffle we made to raise funds.
Rancho San Eduardo.- We thank the ranch San Eduardo for providing us with a bottle of ground honey mezcal 750 mL, which was offered as a prize in the raffle.
