LB medium:

Preparation of LB medium(1000 ml):


  1. mix:

    • 10 g Peptone/Trypton.
    • 10 g NaCl.
    • 5 g Yeast extract.

    • Incubate the plates at 30 ℃ for 2-4 days to allow for growth of transformants..

  2. autoclave with bottle not tightly closed.
  3. add 1000 uL antibiotics (1000x) when bottle is slightly cooled down.(optional)
