LB solid medium:

Preparation of (1000 ml):


  1. mix:

    • 10 g Peptone/Trypton.
    • 10 g NaCl.
    • 5 g Yeast extract.

    • 20 g Agar.

  2. autoclave with bottle not tightly closed.
  3. add 1000uL antibiotics (1000x) when bottle is slightly cooled down.(optinal)
  4. make plates under cleanbench when 70 ℃ is reached.
