Solid YPD-Medium:

Preparation (1000 ml):


  1. mix:

    • 20 g Peptone/Trypton.
    • 100 mL 20% D-Glucose (-> autoclave seperatly or filter-sterelize).
    • 10 g Yeast extract.

    • 20 g Agar.

  2. autoclave with bottle not tightly closed.
  3. add 1000 uL antibiotics (1000x) when bottle is slightly cooled down.(optional)
  4. make plates under clean bench when -70 ℃ is reached.
