Overnight culture S. cerevisiae

28 ℃ (for S.cerevisiae) for 1-2 days

procedure

  1. pipette 5 mL YEP-Medium into a sterile glass.

  2. (add 5 uL corresponding antibiotics only if the antibiotics has a concentration of 1000).

  3. add one colony from the plate of your strain with a toothpick/ pipette tip and throw it in the glass.

  4. leave it shaking in the 28 ℃ room (for for S.cerevisiae) over 1 or 2 nights.
