Determination of DNA concentration (Nanodrop machine)

procedure


  1. Firstly, clean the device with water by pipetting a few drops on the surface and wipe it twice.

  2. Turn the device on and select the option LIFE SCIENCE → DNA.

  3. Adjust the pipette to 2 ul, place a drop of the used buffer (as reference) in the center of the cross and closed the lid.

  4. Clean the surface and repeated step 3 in order to get a second reference.

  5. Wipe the surface and apply a drop of our sample, close the lid and write the result down.

  6. Clean the device in the end properly.
