Project Advisor
Dr. Marc Facciotti, Associate Lecturer, was our main advisor for this project, he has been able to guide the team in general project support, lab support,fundraising help, developing protocols, growing CHO cell culture, and presentation coaching.
Andrew Yao
Lab Manager and Mentor
Andrew Yao, Lab Manager and Research and Development Engineer, he was also one of our main advisors giving guidance in wet lab, developing protocols,wiki support, fundraising advice, human practices support and ordering necessary materials.
Justin Siegel
Secondary Advisor
Dr. Justin Siegel, Associate Professor, has history working with Superfund; he has been able to use his experience with Superfund to assist the team in outlining the project and receiving fundraising.
Linda Huang
Graphic Designer
Linda is a third year Design student at UC Davis with a focus in User Interface. She specializes in visual design and has a background in illustration. In her free time, she likes to draw and consume boba tea. Special thanks to Linda for designing the website and all the amazing graphics.
- Dr. Michael Denison ,Professor of Environmental Toxicology, aided us in design and selection of target promoters.
- Daniel Lewis , Postgraduate Research candidate, assisted us in designing our DNA constructs as well as offering advice on lab techniques.
- Hyunsoo Kim , Postgraduate Research student, gave us lab support by helping us begin our mammalian cell cultures and protocol development.
