Biosynthesis of CdS semiconductor
To construct our light-driven system, we first induce the precipitation of CdS semiconductor on the cell membrane. Two plasmids encoding the surface display protein OmpA-PbrR and the nitrogenase are co-transferred into E. coli strain.
