iGEM Team of
Zhongzheng University
As a part of human practice, the collaboration between iGEM teams has always been both encouraged by iGEM headquarter and embraced by the teams. collaborations not only inspire new thoughts but also help teams refine their experiments. Sometimes it really takes more than a team’s strength to succeed in synthetic biology.
This time, Zhongzheng University came to us with their troubled Interlab experiments. They had trouble transforming DNA sequences required for Interlab into E. coli. After a long period of problem detection and elimination of errors, we determined that the sample genes obtained by Zhongzheng University do not seem to have been completely purified, and there are many other DNA sequences that are not part of the target DNA. We informed Zhongzheng University iGEM team of our conclusion to help them with their experiments.
This is the first time that we ever came into substantial contact with another iGEM team. We are very glad to help Zhongzheng University iGEM team and are looking forward to more collaborations.
