iGEM Team of

Zhongzheng University

As a part of human practice, the collaboration between iGEM teams has always been both encouraged by iGEM headquarter and embraced by the teams. Collaboration not only inspire new thoughts but also help teams refine their experiments. Sometimes it really takes more than one team to succeed in synthetic biology.

This time, Zhongzheng University ask us to help with their Interlab experiments. They had trouble transforming DNA sequences required for Interlab into E.coli. After a long period of problem detection and errors elimination, we determined that the sample genes obtained by Zhongzheng University do not seem to be completely purified, and there are many other DNA sequences that are not part of the target DNA. We informed Zhongzheng University iGEM team of our conclusion to help them with their experiments.

This is the first time that we ever came into substantial contact with another iGEM team. We are very glad to help Zhongzheng University iGEM team and are looking forward to more collaborations.
