<p>We used this variety of colours to introduce, both ourselves and the general public, to the <b>Microbial Art field</b>: artworks produced with living cells such as bacteria. We were introduced into this kind of art thanks to the information gathered as part of our <a href=https://2018.igem.org/Team:Valencia_UPV/Integrated_Humantarget="_blank">Integrated</a> work with art professionals. The bioartist María Peñil, who works hand-by-hand with the researcher Mehmet Berkmen, helped us to in-depth understand the Microbial Art branch and its possibilities. Indeed, we finally sent them some of our <b>Printone samples</b>, as they were interested in testing the use of our genetic engineered bacteria to paint with.
