<p>Thanks to the knowledge and advices gathered as part of our <a href="https://2018.igem.org/Team:Valencia_UPV/Integrated_Human" target="_blank">Integrated dialogue</a> with bioartist María Peñil and his researcher collegue Mehmet Berkmen, we decided to explore the <b>Microbial Art</b> field: the creation of masterpieces with microbial living cells. </p>

<p>Thus, we used our bacterial palette to introduce, both <b>ourselves</b> and the <b>general public</b>, into the <b>Microbial Art</b>. As recommended by María, we tried  several painting techniques, such as pipetting liquid medium or directly using inoculating loops as a brush, to know which one fits better with the bacterial growth. Indeed, we even sent some of our <b>Printone samples</b> to María and Mehemet, as they were really interested in testing themselves the use of our <b>genetic modified microorganisms</b> to paint their own artworks. </p>
